Senior Electronics Manufacturing Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Manufacturing Project Lead to join our Engineering Services department at HITACHI ENERGY LTD.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced project leader to oversee all EMS-related projects for our IGCT Gate Unit assembly. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project introductions, testing protocols, component lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and production process support.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a development environment, expertise in component engineering, and knowledge of PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes. Fluency in both German and English is essential, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cutting-edge designs or design changes for the IGCT Gate Unit assembly.
- Lead testing excellence initiatives, including In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and burn-in testing to ensure quality standards.
- Verify that the IGCT Gate Units perform as expected through functional testing.
- Maintain rigorous testing protocols to guarantee reliability and longevity of products.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of components within the IGCT Gate Unit, including sourcing, supplier identification, and timely availability.
- Proactively address component obsolescence to prevent production disruptions.
- Implement stringent quality checks throughout the product lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and provide expert support when challenges arise.
- Several years of experience in a development environment.
- Expertise in component engineering.
- Solid knowledge of PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
