About the RoleWe're seeking an ambitious and talented individual to join our team as an Automation Engineer Intern in our engineering support for automation department.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation smart factory systems. As an Automation Engineer Intern, you'll work closely with our experienced engineers to design, implement, and integrate automated processes, focusing on gluing/mounting, glue curing, and SAM analysis.
- Develop a deep understanding of the process steps and parameters influencing product quality.
- Analyze and understand the requirements and challenges of Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Collaborate in the verification and qualification of automated cell integration with our MES and ECS systems.
- Drive the implementation of automated cell processes and ensure seamless integration with our smart factory infrastructure.
- Proactively monitor progress against targets, identifying potential roadblocks to ensure timely project completion.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in a technical field (Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, material science, physics, electronics, etc.).
- A strong interest in industry 4.0 and automation topics.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and tools.
- Highest motivation and achievement levels.
- Autonomy, proactivity, and self-organization skills.
- Fluency in German or English (spoken and written).
