Sazerac Company, a 400-year-old American family-owned business, is seeking a Strategic Procurement Lead to join its global office in Lucerne, Switzerland. With an average of double-digit growth every year since the 2000s, Sazerac has established itself as a leader in producing and marketing award-winning bourbons and whiskeys, including Buffalo Trace, Pappy Van Winkle, and Blanton's.
Job Description- Oversee the implementation and utilization of eSourcing platforms and tools to streamline sourcing processes, enhance supplier collaboration, and drive cost savings.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, and finance, to define requirements, configure system settings, and integrate eSourcing tools with existing systems and processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and supplier capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management roles, with a focus on eSourcing platforms and tools. They should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in eSourcing platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree or certification in procurement or IT is a plus.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing processes, and eSourcing tool capabilities.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also enjoy international travel opportunities (25% of the time) and a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.
