About the Role

As an Application Scientist at DECTRIS, you will play a crucial role in helping customers apply our X-ray detectors in their research and collaborate on projects in their application field.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and expand partnerships with key opinion leaders

  • Provide application support, training, and product demonstrations to customers

  • Collaborate with researchers at synchrotron facilities and laboratories worldwide

  • Contribute to content creation for marketing materials, webinars, application notes, and scientific publications



Requirements


  • Hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related field

  • Possess a strong foundation in X-ray diffraction and expertise in Chemical Crystallography and/or Powder Diffraction

  • Proven experience in scientific research and a strong academic network

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with scientists from diverse backgrounds
