Sustainability and Economics Division Intern

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Sustainability and Economics division as an intern. As a member of our Net Zero Transition team, you will play a crucial role in advocating for climate change solutions in aviation, with a focus on supporting sustainable aviation fuel initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and manage data on sustainable aviation fuel developments worldwide, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in technical and research tasks, project management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to developing guidance materials for various stakeholders, including airlines, regulators, and civil society organizations.
  • Support the creation of presentation materials and capacity-building workshops, helping to educate and inform stakeholders on sustainable aviation practices.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a relevant background in a field such as environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Interest or exposure to aviation and sustainability, with a passion for driving positive change.
  • Strong IT and data analysis skills, with experience in data management and analysis software.
  • Effective planning and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Appreciation for cultural diversity and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
