Network Operations Specialist

IT Advanced Consulting SA is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our telecommunications and telemetry infrastructure on a national scale.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive, analyze, and resolve complex incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage service requests, including ticket management, to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Support field technicians with access, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of communication infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain operational processes and documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Participate in projects as a representative of operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Communicate and escalate incidents and issues effectively at different levels, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Participate in on-call duties 24/7, providing around-the-clock support for critical infrastructure.
- Technical training in electricity, telecommunications, or information technology, or equivalent.
- Ongoing training as a senior technician or a degree from a higher education institution in one of these fields is preferred.
- Experience in operating complex communication infrastructures, with a strong understanding of technologies such as telephone installations, VoIP, WDM, IP, and MPLS.
- Excellent analytical skills and continuous intervention capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL certification, with certification advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English, with French or Italian a plus.
- Flexible working hours (42 hours per week) with the possibility of remote work.
- 25-30 days of vacation, as well as company holidays between Christmas and New Year.
