Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our team at IT Advanced Consulting SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our telecommunications and telemetry infrastructure on a national scale.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, analyze, and resolve complex incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage service requests from initiation to closure, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Support field technicians with access, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of communication infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain operational processes and documentation, adhering to ITIL standards.
- Participate in projects as a representative of operations, contributing to the development of our communication infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, escalating issues as necessary.
- Participate in on-call duties, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
- Technical training in electricity, telecommunications, or information technology, or equivalent.
- Ongoing training as a senior technician or a degree from a higher education institution in one of these fields is preferred.
- Experience in operating complex communication infrastructures.
- Excellent mastery of at least one of the technologies used, such as telephone installations, VoIP, WDM, IP, or MPLS.
- Experience in operating communication infrastructures or secondary techniques in substations is desired.
- Good analytical skills and continuous intervention capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL certification is advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English; French or Italian would be a plus.
- Flexible working hours (42 hours per week) with the possibility of remote work.
- 25-30 days of vacation, as well as company holidays between Christmas and New Year.
