Category Procurement Specialist

• Product Sourcing: Identify and procure new products that align with customer preferences and market trends, ensuring a diverse and appealing product range.
• Negotiation and Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms, guaranteeing high-quality product offerings.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to ensure optimal availability and minimize excess stock, coordinating deliveries with logistics to meet customer demands.
• Market Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions, monitoring competitors for opportunities to enhance the product assortment.
• Product Assortment Development: Develop and implement strategic product assortments across various categories to improve customer satisfaction and drive sales and profitability.
• Performance Review and Adjustment: Regularly review product performance and adjust assortments based on customer feedback and sales trends to ensure a competitive edge.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align product launches and promotions, building strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive business success.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, with German or French preferred.
