Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Bioplant Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Incyte.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and manage all technical components of the manufacturing systems, laboratory equipment, and infrastructure of the Yverdon Bioplant, including servers and network equipment.
  • Orientate towards optimizing these systems in an efficient and proactive manner.
  • Participate in IT support and have personal accountability for coordinating all activities related to this role.
  • Provide assistance with IT qualification and validation processes.
Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Install and administer equipment within the Process Science and Quality Control laboratories, aligning it with Site IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Manage user access, provide technical support, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment within the Bioplant Process Science and Quality Control laboratories.
  • Offer IT end-user support across various locations.
  • Ensure the upkeep of IT rooms and storage facilities.
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of IT manufacturing systems (PCS, MES, BAS, etc.).
  • Support engineering and administration tasks for diverse infrastructure elements such as Telephony and Videoconference systems, MS Windows servers, Linux servers, SQL/Oracle Database servers, Application servers, Storage & Backup Infrastructure, and Active Directory.
  • Promote effective collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Maintain open communication channels with EU/US IT teams, focusing on day-to-day Infrastructure operations and support.
  • Comply with regulations like 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA, adhering to established protocols and procedures for change control, documentation, and governance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with data center facilities management, data center backbone networks, server farms, large-scale storage area networks (SAN), and data center provisioning processes.
  • Experience configuring and verifying enterprise-level best practices.
  • Awareness of VMware/virtual server expertise and vSphere console, VMotion, and VMware management knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft server products and applications, including Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, RDS.
  • Practical skills with Wireshark and other troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of data center power and infrastructure wiring (copper, fiber).
  • Ability to integrate Voice, Data, and video services over corporate LAN & WAN facilities.
  • Competency in client applications such as MS Office, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, network management tools (Solarwinds), remote access programs (putty, SecureCRT), etc.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, qualifications, and performance.
