About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled RAMS Manager to join our team at Rheinmetall Air Defence AG. As a RAMS Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring product safety and availability, which includes RAMS-relevant tasks in the development process and for dependent areas, in compliance with legal requirements and taking into account international standards as well as internal company process specifications and directives.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Analysing specifications, conditions, and requirements for projects or products, and formulating target values
  • Initiating, planning, and implementing project-related program plans and workshops along the V-model of development
  • Specifying and tracking technical assumptions, requirements, constraints, and conditions and rules in offers and projects
  • Collaborating with development teams, e.g. in Model Based Engineering (SysML), and applying modern tools (e.g. DOORS, ANSYS medini, etc.)
  • Applying relevant analyses on the respective abstraction level (e.g. HARA, FTA, FMECA, HAZOP, or RBD and Reliability Prediction, etc.)
  • Initiating, coordinating, and conducting subject matter workshops and audits and reviews on relevant documents
  • Collecting and processing relevant data, verification documents, and certificates
  • Drafting verification documents

About You


We are looking for a (technical) university degree as engineer (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar. You should have several years of experience in the field of RAMS, and be able to work independently and responsibly. You should also be committed, have initiative, and flexibility, and have very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
