Middle Office Business Analyst

Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Middle Office team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing internal and external transformation and development projects related to Middle Office.
  • Identifying areas for process improvements and streamlining workflows.
  • Providing methodological input for development and change activities in terms of PnL and positions.
  • Acting as a service provider for portfolio owners, creating reports with validation of PnL and positions.
  • Monitoring portfolio structures and its processes behind.
  • Coordinating and supporting other units, as well as ensuring that directives are met by the Front.
  • Collaborating with IT teams on system enhancements and implementations.
  • Creating and enhancing reports in terms of PnL, Positions, and Cashflows, mainly on PowerBI.
Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A university degree in finance, engineering, data science, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or finance business, with international scope.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the value chain in the energy sector or commodity market, including related financial products.
  • Strong project and process management skills.
  • Solid coding skills, with experience in Python, Power BI, VBA, and data analysis.
  • Inter-cultural experience.
  • Proficiency in English, with French as an advantage.
