Business Controller Trading

Main Responsibilities:
  • Verify and comment on the monthly trading activity reports.
  • Establish a connection between the trading profit and loss statement and the accounting gross margin for the trading activity.
  • Review requests from the Group Controlling department regarding net working capital movements for the trading activity.
  • Contribute to and assist in creating the year-end estimate.
  • Prepare the budget for costs with the business and for the gross margin with the Finance Business Partner for Trading.
  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses to support the Finance Business Partner, Group Controlling, and Business Management in finding solutions to finance-related topics.

Your Profile:
  • Hold a university degree or equivalent in business administration with a focus on finance and controlling.
  • Have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in an energy commodity trading environment.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems, such as SAP.
  • Possess knowledge of IFRS, which is an asset.
  • Display high attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Show an independent and proactive working style.
  • Demonstrate a winning personality with excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with any additional languages being a plus.
