Middle Office Business Analyst

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and external transformation projects related to Middle Office, ensuring efficient project management and timely delivery.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and streamline workflows to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Provide methodological input for development and change activities, focusing on PnL and positions.
  • Act as a service provider for portfolio owners, creating reports with validation of PnL and positions.
  • Monitor portfolio structures and processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and support other units, ensuring that directives are met by the Front.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement system enhancements and new features.
  • Develop and enhance reports on PnL, Positions, and Cashflows using PowerBI.

Your Profile

  • Hold a university degree in finance, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Have 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or finance business, with international scope.
  • possess solid knowledge and understanding of the value chain in the energy sector or commodity market, including related financial products.
  • Demonstrate strong project and process management skills.
  • Possess solid coding skills, including Python, Power BI, VBA, and data analysis.
  • Have inter-cultural experience.
  • Be proficient in English, with French as an advantage.
