Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and managing a new sales team, including recruiting, training, and managing new sales representatives.

You will develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and solidify its presence in the market.

Achieving growth and hitting sales targets will be a key focus, with effective team management and assessing the team's strengths and weaknesses.

You will be responsible for knowing the key products and demonstrating them virtually and in front of customers.

Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts will be essential.

You will develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.

Liaising and developing professional relationships with regional representatives and sales managers will be a key aspect of the role.

Working closely with the business unit's product managers to feed back market insights for innovations will be a critical responsibility.

You will attend conferences and exhibitions when required to identify opportunities.

Managing relationships with internal stakeholders at the headquarters and in subsidiaries will be a key part of the role.

Overseeing sales forecasting and financial invoicing for all department activities within the set budget will be a key responsibility.

Managing sales and cost budgets and updating financial records will be a critical aspect of the role.

Requirements

A Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field is required.

A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is essential.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales leadership role is required.

Experience with sales of laboratory equipment or reagents is a plus.

Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and support a team are essential.

A well-organized and systematically acting personality is required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

The ability to analyze and interpret sales data and metrics to set up a plan is critical.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is required.

The ability to travel across Europe as needed is essential.

Fluency in German and very good in English (C1 Level), fluency in French and other local languages is an additional plus.
