Senior Medical Device Systems Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Device Systems Engineer to join our team at Hamilton. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing medical devices that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze product requirements to create technical specifications
- Develop system architecture for medical devices, ensuring patient safety, customer needs, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate system components and ensure proper device functionality
- Ensure regulatory compliance and lead integration and verification activities
- Contribute to risk analysis and mitigation strategies in accordance with ISO 14971
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders and team members
Requirements:
- Technical or scientific degree (B.Sc. FH, M.Sc. ETH or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in medical product development
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA, MDR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Independent, reliable, and structured work style
- Open and solution-oriented personality, with excellent communication skills
