We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Capture Specialist to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our CCUS team, you will play a critical role in developing and managing CCUS projects, and providing best support to countries in integrating new technologies and concepts in the cement manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities

* Evaluate and develop promising CCUS concepts and appropriate CO2 capturing technologies in cement plants, in collaboration with the corporate CC function and country organizations
* Participate in the full process design, from early project stages to EPC, to position CO2 capture technologies and solutions
* Propose safe, innovative, and optimized solutions to reduce CAPEX/Opex costs
* Identify and manage process interfaces with existing and new facilities
* Execute process engineering tasks in compliance with safety and process design standards
* Coach and empower project teams in countries and regions to drive CCUS projects and studies

Requirements

* Bachelor or Master's degree in Industrial Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering for FGT systems in carbon capture systems
* Experience working on a cement plant
* Technical leadership in FGT of CC plant concept development
* Knowledge in specific chemical process simulation software
* Manufacturing background
* Strong listening, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to interact with different levels in the organization and with people abroad
* Cost consciousness and result-oriented
* Open-minded for innovation and change

Language Skills

* Fluent in English (oral and written)
* Other languages are a plus
