Job Overview

This role involves managing the lifecycle of materials from set up in SAP to Purchase Order Placement to release for production. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the supply and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials are maintained for direct purchased items.

  • Develop and maintain material numbers and detailed material planning parameters in SAP (PIR, SL, lead-times, and other MRP relevant settings).
  • Convert material requirements plans into Purchase Orders.
  • Facilitate material availability through liaison with procurement and teams involved in inbound material processing.
  • Track, report, and ensure on-time material availability, including testing and release for production.
  • Collaborate with the broader procurement team to ensure all relevant material & vendor master data and outline agreements are available in SAP and up-to-date.
  • Support internal cross-functional collaborators to onboard and approve new raw materials and suppliers.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will require advanced skills in purchasing, inventory, analytical, and distribution management. Experience in GMP environments is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in SAP and MS office programs is essential, along with fluency in German and English.
