Job Summary
PROSTAFF Schweiz GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Windows Platforms Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating complex IT infrastructures and business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex IT infrastructures and business applications using Windows and Microsoft Azure.
- Manage dedicated Hyper-V environments and engineer next-generation solutions.
- Develop and maintain Automation solutions using PowerShell (Infrastructure as Code).
- Contribute to the implementation and management of security measures and provide expertise to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure system availability, performance optimization, and regular maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, preferably in a similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows server administration and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and initiative.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified (Azure, Core Infrastructure) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
- Good writing and speaking skills in English and German.
- Willingness to work on-call.
