Job Summary

As an Azure Cloud Solutions Consultant at Microsoft, you will work with our most important managed customers to advance the sales process and achieve solution sales and consumption targets for related workloads. You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to identify digital transformation initiatives and develop an Azure Infrastructure expertise to drive the consumption project to production.

Responsibilities

Sales Execution

  • Engage in industry-aligned conversations with customers to introduce digital transformation opportunities.
  • Initiate digital transformation discussions in collaboration with partners and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth.
  • Apply Microsoft's sales process to evaluate opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers.
  • Identify customer business needs and technology readiness, and contribute to solution development.
  • Build external stakeholders' mapping and collaborate with account teams to engage senior decision makers.
  • Implement strategies to accelerate deal closure and coach team members in deal plan execution.

Scaling and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Global Partner Services and partners to cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Identify new partners and develop joint proposals.
  • Apply the orchestration model to leverage and expand relationships with internal stakeholders and partners.

Technical Expertise

  • Lead conversations and events within Microsoft, mentor others, and contribute ideas for best practice sharing.
  • Initiate conversations at events to expand external network and act as a subject matter expert in solution areas.
  • Collaborate with the 'compete' global black belts to analyze competitor products and position Microsoft favorably.

Sales Excellence

  • Collaborate with partners and resources, leverage customer insights or industry knowledge, and contribute to business exploration.
