About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to support our client in Zurich. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate cloud solutions and refine them collaboratively
  • Ensure alignment with best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing solution architecture
  • Drive the implementation of Azure Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, AKS, and Azure Web App Service
  • Oversee deployment, ensuring ease of deployment, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to equip the team with skills for long-term self-sufficiency
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and training materials
  • Mentor team members on best practices in Azure Cloud, AKS, and infrastructure design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Senior Cloud Developer/Solution Architect in Microsoft Azure environments
  • Expertise in AKS and Azure Web App Service
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure design and implementation
  • Ability to balance ease of deployment, maintainability, and adherence to regulatory and security standards
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in driving transformational projects and implementing solutions at scale
  • Proficient communication skills in English are a must, while knowledge of the German language is a significant advantage
