Chief Financial Officer

Commodity Supplies AG is seeking a seasoned Group CFO to join its team. As a key member of the executive management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the alcohol business.

• Formulate the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives
• Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
• Develop financial and tax strategies
• Manage the capital needs and budgeting process
• Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic position

Management & Operations

• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
• Manage the human resources, legal, tax, and treasury departments (functions)
• Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiaries, including their control systems, transaction processing operations, policies, and procedures
• Develop and maintain an appropriate transfer pricing documentation
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems with a key focus on implementing an electronic invoice processing system
• Manage outsourced functions
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Financial Information

• Oversee the issuance of financial information
• Report financial results to the management board

Risk Management

• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
• Monitor all open legal issues involving the company as well as legal issues affecting the industry
• Develop and monitor reliable control systems
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• Report and manage the foreign exchange risk of the company
• Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and implement their recommendations, as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial management role within the production and/or food processing industry
• Strong knowledge of process-based accounting principles, financial management of contracts, and project costing
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Experience working closely with executive leadership and contributing to strategic decision-making
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
