Client Relationship Manager for Private Wealth in Switzerland

Partners Group is a leading innovator of client solutions for the Private Wealth segment. As a Client Relationship Professional for Private Wealth in Switzerland, you will be part of the Private Wealth Client Solutions team in the Partners Group headquarters in Zug. Your primary responsibility will be to build new and broaden existing relationships with private wealth distribution channels primarily in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with existing and new Private Wealth partners, including global/regional/local banks and asset managers.
- Sourcing and leading distribution projects and product initiatives, coordinating day-to-day interactions across open-ended and closed-ended funds.
- Map out the investor landscape, plan, and undertake regular cold call campaigns.
- Understand and present the full range of Partners Group's solutions to partner organizations, including operational and regulatory features of a product/project.
- Support the team with strategic distribution projects across open-ended and closed-ended funds as well as in day-to-day tasks.
- Work closely with Partners Group's private wealth teams (portfolio solutions, structuring).
- Become an expert in private markets and Partners Group's platform, products, and investment strategies across asset classes.
- Understand key competitors' offerings and know how to best position Partners Group's solutions.
- Create tailored, persuasive, and high-quality marketing materials and responses to client requests, assisting with queries, and performance updates.
- Be involved front to back in the client journey from client contract negotiations, client onboarding, including CDD and KYC, and relationship management.
- Bachelor's degree (MBA, Master's, and/or CFA preferred) with a strong academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a relevant discipline.
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience (preferably in private markets industry) in business development, consulting, sales & marketing, relationship management.
- Previous experience within the fund selection and institutional sales departments in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Private Markets is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and identifying/converting new clients with a track record of fundraising success.
- Familiarity with alternatives with a focus on semi-liquid products, mutual funds, and close-ended products would be a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in business English and German – both written and verbal, other languages such as French or Italian are beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a polished, professional manner.
- Attention to detail, extremely organized, and commitment to excellence. Able to problem solve with a client-focused mindset.
