Accounting Expert for Global Business Success

TMF Group, a leading provider of critical administrative services, is seeking an experienced Accounting Expert for Global Business Success to join our team in Switzerland. As a senior accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting, reporting, tax, and payroll-related services to our client companies with timeliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality accounting, reporting, tax, and payroll-related services to client companies with timeliness and efficiency
  • Manage client relations for a portfolio of client entities, ensuring high-quality service delivery for all entities allocated
  • Manage relationships with tax advisors, legal advisors, tax authorities, and auditors
  • Accurately register time spent during working days and manage overall productivity
  • Adhere to policies as set down in TMF's procedures manual and accounting procedures
  • Assist the payroll section with specific accounting issues and supervise and control a portfolio of key client entities
  • Stay informed of developments in Swiss GAAP, international accounting standards, and Swiss payroll-related subjects and ensure compliance at all times

Key Requirements

  • Accounting degree or appropriate degree with relevant experience in performing complex accounting tasks
  • 5 years of working experience in accounting (in-house or client accounting) with in-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting for financial, industrial, or services companies (payroll included), various GAAPs (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.), and accounting systems, consolidation, and reporting methods
  • Fiduciary experience is preferred, with in-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting specifics and proven experience in managing client relationships
  • Team player with the ability to plan and deliver in a timely manner, fluent in French and English (word and writing), and proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Positive, flexible, steady under pressure, and able to exercise independent judgment
