About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Superconducting Magnet Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and testing low and high-temperature superconducting magnets for various applications.



Job Description


Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Designing and implementing test plans for superconducting magnets;
  • Analyzing data from magnet tests to optimize performance;
  • Collaborating with project engineers to define test objectives;
  • Developing new instrumentation and measurement techniques;
  • Applying software tools to automate and standardize data analysis;
  • Storing results and metadata in Oracle databases;
  • Writing detailed reports and presenting findings to experts.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you must have:



  • A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics;
  • 2-6 years of post-graduation professional experience (Master's) or no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience (PhD);
  • Experience with technical superconductors such as Nb-Ti, Nb3Sn, BSCCO, REBCO, and/or MgB2;
  • Hands-on experience with superconductivity, cryogenics, or electrical experiments;
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and programming languages like Python or Visual Basic;
  • Fluent English language skills; French language proficiency is an asset.

Additional Information
