Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Group Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. As a key player in the finance controlling department, you will contribute to the company's mission by providing financial insights and enabling strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly close accounting processes, working closely with finance internationally to ensure accurate and achievable financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting deadlines within the group in order to base the decisions of the Executive Committee on the latest available data.
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of the data uploaded by the local controllers.
  • Update reporting procedures based on ongoing projects (e.g. cost per function) and training of the financial community.
  • Ensure that the HFM structure is updated to meet reporting needs.
  • Analyze financial trends, variances, and performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity or concern and provide recommendations for improvement.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators, financial metrics, and strategic insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Other tasks and participation to projects as defined.

Process Improvement and Optimization

  • Identify opportunities and drive recommendations to streamline the accounting processes in order to enhance reporting capabilities and improve efficiency and accuracy of financial data.
  • Stay updated with the latest IFRS standards and adapt processes and SOPs accordingly.
  • Initiate process improvements and streamline reporting procedures.
  • Participate in the updating of the group's accounting procedures and assist/train subsidiaries for their proper application.
  • Update reporting procedures based on ongoing projects (e.g. cost per function) and training of the financial community.

Administrator Tools

  • HFM Administrator Manage system enhancements and period opening and closing tasks in the consolidation tool.
  • Participate in the update of rental contracts in the dedicated tool.
  • Assist in the implementation of the new consolidation system.
  • Ensure that the HFM structure is updated to meet reporting needs.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate/group finance position.
  • Qualified accountant with strong background in IFRS experience, Accounting and Consolidation.
  • Solid knowledge of the Hyperion and HFM (Onestream an advantage).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • SAP knowledge would be a strong asset.
  • Business fluent in English and French is a must, any further European language is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to structure your thoughts and derive action plans for your team to execute, as well as the ability to communicate efficiently across all staff and stakeholders levels.
