Grant Reporting Finance Specialist

The Michael Page team is seeking a highly skilled Grant Reporting Finance Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing the administration, reporting, and tracking of grants and donations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grant Management: Oversee the financial management of grants, ensuring compliance with grant terms and conditions in collaboration with other teams responsible for grant governance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to grantors as required, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data related to grants.
  • Audit and Documentation: Prepare for and assist with internal and external grant audits, ensuring compliance and maintaining knowledge of grant regulations and guidelines.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with grant regulations and guidelines, maintaining knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Grant Closure: Ensure all financial and reporting requirements are met, reconcile final expenditures, and ensure proper documentation is in place.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with internal stakeholders to support the preparation of grant budgets, forecasts, and monitoring activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project leads and various teams to ensure effective grant management.
  • Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Define and implement process improvements and standardization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business and finance, international relations, public administration, or another relevant field.
  • Proven accounting skills and capability.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
  • Familiar with grant management procedures and donor relations.
  • Ability to work efficiently with a large quantity of data and translate it meaningfully.
  • Ability to compile numbers reliably and present them confidently.
  • Capacity to build strong relationships and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent in English and excellent oral/written communication skills.
