Risk Management Lead

About the Role

  • Oversee credit risk evaluation for the company's worldwide customer portfolio at a group level.
  • Negotiate, purchase, and coordinate all insurance policies, as well as handle damage cases, on a group level.
  • Implement effective exposure management monitoring to identify potential risks.
  • Develop strategies to minimize exposure and prevent losses.
  • Negotiate new deals and review contracts related to payment terms, securities, and insurance clauses.
  • Proactively manage risk activities and implement timely measures.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management to implement trade receivables financing instruments.
  • Establish and maintain credit risk and insurance guidelines.
  • Evaluate and contact insurance brokers to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Supervise local entities regarding insurance and credit risk.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all insurance and credit risk-related inquiries within SR Technics Group.
  • Lead a team of two employees in Belgrade.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior credit analyst/decision maker, senior insurance manager, or team leader in a corporate or financial institution with international experience and a global portfolio exposure.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
  • Experience with contract language and legal terms.
  • Proven negotiation skills in a multicultural environment, including C-level interactions.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
