P&C Underwriting Policy Manager

This position involves developing and implementing comprehensive underwriting policies and procedures that align with our organization's risk management strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining underwriting policies and procedures
- Collaborating closely with the Group Chief Underwriting Officer
- Promoting knowledge exchange within the group through workshops and training sessions
- Conducting Technical Underwriting Reviews in market units
- Enhancing underwriting standards and processes in market units
- Processing referral cases for the Group Underwriting Committee
- Staying abreast of trends and innovations in underwriting
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Many years of experience in operational underwriting and/or product management functions in direct insurance business (P&C) with a focus on property
- Expertise in underwriting governance and portfolio management topics
- Strong leadership skills and experience in functional and/or line management
- Proficiency in English and German languages
- Ability to travel within Europe up to 25%
