The Position

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team and drive commercial success in the field of sequencing. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, enhance accessibility to cutting-edge sequencing solutions, and improve patient outcomes.

As part of our agile and market-leading organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for Roche Sequencing Solutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including key opinion leaders in genomics and diagnostics, research institutions, and healthcare organizations.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong strategic and analytical skills, creativity, and a proactive attitude. Experience in technical sales, consultative selling, and managing complex sales processes is essential. Additionally, experience in working within multidisciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of the life sciences and diagnostics industry is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and develop strategic plans for regional market penetration
  • Build and maintain relevant stakeholder networks to support sales efforts
  • Manage sales opportunities through CRM systems and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process
  • Represent Roche at conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company objectives

You will have a passion for molecular techniques and excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and mobilize stakeholders. A relevant scientific or business-related degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) and at least 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in sequencing or genomics, are required.
