At CH10 - BJB Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., we foster a culture that celebrates individuality, empowering employees to make a meaningful impact. This role is part of the Consolidated Supervision team, which oversees the implementation of Global Minimum Standards (GMS) and Global Minimum Controls (GMC) in Switzerland and internationally.

The team is responsible for Group Policy Management, GMC implementation within Group entities, and the Cross-Unit Relationship (CUR) framework. As the Group Policy Desk, they provide support to international locations on policy implementation. Additionally, the team conducts Quality Assurance across Group locations and risk types, ensuring adherence to Group standards and controls.

Key Challenges:

  • Perform Quality Assurance assessments of key controls at Head Office and international locations to meet GMC requirements.
  • Provide guidance on Internal Control frameworks and tools to international locations for local key control implementation and reporting.
  • Consolidate input from international locations on GMC applicability, implementation, and results for stakeholders, Risk Type Owners, and Senior Management.
  • Manage the GMC deviation/non-applicability workflow tool and related processes.
  • Support GMC rollout and implementation in newly established or acquired entities.

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • University degree or equivalent in economics, business administration, or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in private banking, preferably in Audit, Compliance, Risk, or Control functions or management consulting.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese, German, French, or other languages is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel (Macros) and PowerPoint.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000, considering the company's location and industry standards.
