Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in ensuring the company meets all legal and regulatory requirements across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, preferably within the engineering or construction or renewable energy industry, and be able to develop and oversee compliance programs to mitigate risks and maintain ethical standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, analyzing their impact on our operations and providing guidance to teams.
  • Policy & Risk Management: Develop and implement compliance policies, assess risks, and take corrective actions to prevent non-compliance.
  • Training & Awareness: Lead compliance training sessions and ensure staff understand their obligations and responsibilities.
  • Auditing & Reporting: Conduct regular audits, monitor compliance, and report findings to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain records, liaise with regulatory bodies, and update compliance programs as needed to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus on Compliance.
  • 5+ years of experience in Compliance, preferably within the engineering or construction or renewable energy industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
