Business Controller Trading

Main Responsibilities

  • Review and comment on monthly trading activity reports
  • Establish a connection between trading profit and loss and accounting gross margin for trading activity
  • Provide input on requests from group controlling for net working capital movements related to trading activity
  • Contribute to and support the creation of the year-end estimate
  • Prepare the budget on the cost side with the business and on the gross margin side with the finance business partner for trading
  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses to support finance business partner, group controlling, and business management in finding solutions for finance-related topics

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent in business administration with a focus on finance and controlling
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in an energy commodity trading environment
  • Good command of MS Office and reporting systems (SAP)
  • IFRS knowledge is a plus
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Independent and proactive working style
  • Winning personality with good communication skills, fluent English required, and any other languages a plus
