About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Asset Controller to join our team at Alpiq.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for value chain assets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive Board Members, to discuss economic performance and outlook for value chain assets.
  • Coordinate overall planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for value chain assets, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Work with the management team and Finance Business Partners to identify areas for improvement and drive optimization initiatives for value chain assets.
  • Drive change and lead a team with complex responsibilities, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and strong strategic vision.
Your Profile
  • FHS or University degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling/Finance.
  • Several years of experience in a similar environment, preferably in the energy/commodity trading sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and a highly structured approach to problem-solving.
  • High awareness and focus on stakeholder management.
  • Open-minded attitude and willingness to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • At least 5 years of previous people management experience.
  • Fluent English required.
