Mechanical Fitter

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive breakdown maintenance work across our Ore Leach area of the process plant. This will involve working with experienced teams to ensure the smooth operation of our hydrometallurgical process plant.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake planned and reactive breakdown maintenance work across the Ore Leach area of the process plant
- Work with experienced teams to ensure the smooth operation of the hydrometallurgical process plant
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
- A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence
- Proven experience with sizer screens, thickener tanks, and related agitators, displacement pump, sump pumps, and Warman pumps
- Experience with actuated and manual valves
- Previous HPAL Autoclave experience is desirable
- Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems
- Strong communication skills and excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving abilities
