The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive breakdown maintenance work across our Ore Leach area of the process plant. Ideally, they will have experience with sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks, and related agitators, as well as various pumps. Experience with HPAL Autoclaves is highly desirable for this role.
About You
This role would suit a driven Mechanical Fitter with previous experience working in a similar hydrometallurgical process plant who is looking for job security and career opportunities. You will also have:
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
- A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence
- Proven experience with sizer screens, thickener tanks, and related agitators, displacement pump, sump pumps, and Warman pumps
- Experience with actuated and manual valves
- Previous HPAL Autoclave experience is desirable
- Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems
- Strong communication skills and excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities
