Sales Support Wholesale Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our asset management team as a Sales Support professional.

This role offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in the sales process within the asset management industry, with the potential to transition into a sales position within the next 1-2 years.

As a Sales Support professional, you will assist one Senior Sales Wholesale in maintaining client relationships, managing sales processes, and preparing for client meetings, while progressively developing your own sales skills and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of our company's suite of investment products and strategies
  • Coordinate and support the sales, product, and marketing demands of distribution partners
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests, prepare and send meeting follow-ups, and ensure timely communication
  • Maintain, create, update, and report on sales opportunities, pipelines, and meeting notes in Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of client events, including proprietary, sponsored, or partner-hosted events
  • Support the planning, coordination, and follow-up of training sessions for distribution partners, in collaboration with the sales team
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging publications and strategy-focused materials tailored to client needs
  • Work proactively with internal teams (product management, investment teams, marketing, sales, etc.) to ensure alignment on key initiatives
  • Assist the sales team in preparing business plans, generating sales reports, and fulfilling internal management requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services, asset management, or a related industry, with exposure to HNWIs, UHNWIs, or institutional clients
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong desire to grow into a sales role
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as German or French are a plus
