CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is seeking a skilled software developer to join its team. As a software developer for RF and beam diagnostics, you will be responsible for developing software for the low-level RF and longitudinal beam diagnostics in the LHC and injector chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop real-time FESA software for signal acquisition from instruments and processing of high-bandwidth signal acquisition from the LLRF.
  • Design and implement graphical interface software for control and data presentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the software systems.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming.
  • Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as git.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to work in French as an advantage.
