We are looking for a Swiss-based audit professional (m, f, d) as Chief Audit Officer Private Banking.

About the Role

As Chief Audit Officer, you will be responsible for conducting complex and routine audits across all areas of the private banking group's activities. You will lead audit teams to ensure audit objectives are met and completed on time. Your tasks include:

  • Planning and conducting audits in accordance with IIA and IIAS standards based on the IPPF Code of Ethics while maintaining objectivity and independence
  • Producing high-quality audit reports for the Head of Internal Audit
  • Advising line managers with constructive and prudent criticism and developing best practice solutions to issues identified
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor or Master in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or Audit
  • Audit certification CIA, CPA, or ACCA
  • Experience in a Big-Four company with auditing private banks or internal auditing at a private bank
  • In-depth knowledge of private banking processes and experience in creating modern data analyses
  • Critical thinking, ability to see the big picture, and find appropriate solutions based on best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, French, and German
