Senior Finance Manager

Glenmark Specialty SA, a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join its team in Neuchatel.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and local GAAP, as well as preparing disclosures in compliance with Indian listing norms.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Conducting periodic transfer price setting for operations.
- Undertaking transfer pricing documentation.
- Developing and implementing financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting for Swiss subsidiaries, focusing on areas such as research, clinical trials, development, and manufacturing.
- Implementing ERP modules and supporting IT change implementation.
- Overseeing financial aspects of trading operations.
- Collaborating with business teams to review contracts for licensing deals, restructuring, asset transfers, and reporting financial, accounting, and tax implications to management.
- Strengthening internal controls specific to operations.
- Working closely with business teams to establish new trades and manage supply finance.
- Managing, training, developing, and growing a team of two direct reports.
- Overseeing treasury operations and banking relations.
- Ensuring adherence to budgets and supporting cost optimization activities.
- Drafting SOPs for new processes.
- Strengthening procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Aligning policies and processes with Group policies.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with a senior position covering multiple geographies. They should have gained exposure managing several business units and be able to communicate and report with C-level executives. Prior experience in managing a small team is also essential. A stellar knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards is mandatory, and applications not clearly demonstrating this competence will not be considered. Excellent command of English is required, and Hindi is highly desirable. Additional languages are a plus. This position is based in Neuchatel and requires 5 days/week onsite.
