We're seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking professional to join our team at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. as Head of Thought Leadership.

As a key member of the Group Communications and Public Affairs team, you'll be responsible for shaping and driving strategic thought leadership initiatives that support our corporate communications goals and enhance our brand's reputation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting and implementing a robust thought leadership strategy that aligns with our corporate communications objectives.
  • Identifying content gaps and opportunities to showcase our expertise and leadership in areas crucial to our clients.
  • Selecting and managing external partners, including think tanks, universities, and third-party platforms, to deliver impactful research, platforms, and events.
  • BUILDING strong partnerships with key business stakeholders on content development and working closely with the broader communications and public affairs team on targeted activation initiatives.
  • Working with media and social media teams on high-impact activation ensuring alignment with our corporate communications strategy.

Requirements include:

  • Proven background in corporate communications and thought leadership.
  • Experience working with or in public policy, politics, or related fields.
  • Industry knowledge in insurance (Life and GI) or wider financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, think creatively, and deliver impactful thought leadership initiatives.
  • Management experience with proven ability to build coalitions and work in partnership across functions.
