At Lonza, we're seeking a skilled Biotechnologist to join our team in Visp, Switzerland. As a key player in our production facilities, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations while adhering to safety regulations and GMP quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in various functions within our production facilities, applying your technical expertise to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Identify, interpret, and resolve production deviations to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Execute production steps with precision, including detailed recording and calculations.
  • Support and train new team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of excellence.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as an operator, technician, or mechanic with technical and practical knowledge of machines and tools.
  • Technical licenses, such as a plumber license, HVAC technician license, or welding certificates.
  • A strong commitment to safety-conscious work practices and a willingness to work in a 4-shift pattern with flexible scheduling.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
