Financial Director of Technology

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to lead our Group Platforms organization. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to our Group Platforms domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of experienced financial controllers, providing financial partnership and support for Group Platforms Domains
  • Drive timely, accurate, and transparent key financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, internal allocation, and financial performance KPIs dashboard
  • Provide financial insights, analysis, and proposals that drive sound decision-making and steering in line with long-term Group Platforms Strategy
  • Develop and maintain financial frameworks, data management, and tooling that support aligned and efficient ways of working across Group Platforms
  • Liaise with Central accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and create feedback loops for improving accuracy and reliability
  • Liaise with other Group Functions, including FP&A, Tax, Procurement, Legal, Treasury, and Internal audit, to secure compliant ways of working within risk frames

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven experience in financial controlling, budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis within complex global organizations
  • 5+ years of proven experience in team management
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance
  • Proven track record of delivering results through influential leadership and strong multi-stakeholder management skillset
  • Experience in Technology companies, IT/Digital departments, Shared Service centers, transforming organizations, and/or strong affinity to new technologies and practical application for business
  • Experience with modern IT Financial management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent SAP Finance, MS Office, and business intelligence reporting skills
