The VisilabGroup, a leading optician in Switzerland, is part of the globally operating company EssilorLuxottica. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Controlling department.

The successful candidate will play a key role in drawing up the budget, quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly P&L impacts. Key responsibilities include:

Main Tasks:

  • Co-leading the monthly forecasts, quarterly re-forecasts, and annual budgets within the deadlines set by the EssilorLuxottica Group.
  • Defining and setting up key financial and non-financial indicators, working capital, and DSI.
  • Participating in the production of ROI returns on various investment projects.
  • Providing rigorous quantitative and financial analysis to support decision-making for various departments, the finance department, and top management.
  • Working with the EL Group to review and share best practices.
  • Monitoring and steering central and shop margins.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed Excel-based financial models and business cases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably in finance, accounting, or controlling.
  • Proficient in English, with German and/or French (verbal and written) being an advantage.
  • 1 year of experience in a retail industry or an international company.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and good PowerPoint skills.
  • Self-starter, proactive, confident, and fluent communicator with management at all levels.
  • Rigorous understanding of financial controls and relentless focus on driving process efficiency.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
