We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Portfolio Director to lead our global product management function. This individual will be responsible for defining and executing strategies to drive organic profitable business growth, new product development, and value optimization.

Job SummaryThe Strategic Portfolio Director will lead a team of global product managers and regional segment managers to develop and execute strategies that drive profitable growth and expand our product portfolio. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and geographies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the transformation of our Transport product management from legacy, brand-specific, geographically centric teams into a highly functional, integrated team.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive organic profitable business growth, new product development, and value optimization.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations to ensure accurate revenue and margin forecast numbers.
- Establish and maintain liaison with finance and build solid processes and procedures related to financials of products.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 5-10 years of product management experience in a broader senior management role in international environments.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to effectively work with customers, business partners, vendors, staff, and management from a variety of skill levels and different authority levels.
- Ability to travel 25% to 40%.
Xylem offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus potential and excellent benefits. LocationThis position is located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland (Xylem Europe HQ). We welcome applications from candidates who are willing to relocate or have the ability to commute to our headquarters.
