About the Project

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our interdisciplinary team at the ZHAW Centre for AI. Our research aims to develop novel methods at the intersection of data-driven optimization, manufacturing science, and machine learning to improve adaptability in complex manufacturing systems.

Your Role

">

You will work closely with our team to explore methods for incorporating preferences based on reinforcement learning and data-driven optimization. Additionally, you will investigate the connection between expert preferences in text form and underlying control actions. The developed methods will be demonstrated on robotic systems available in our lab.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you should have a master's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or a related field. Experience in setting up or working with robotics/autonomous systems in research labs is essential. Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS programming languages, as well as data analysis skills, is required.
