Food and Beverage Service Expert

Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of the city, offering guests an unparalleled level of comfort and service. As a Food and Beverage Service Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Your TasksAs a member of our F&B team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional service to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Serving food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation
- Billing all transactions accurately and maintaining a high level of cash handling skills
You will also be responsible for supporting the supervisors in their daily tasks, including preparing and implementing events, providing mise en place, and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, bar, and terrace areas.
In addition, you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
Your ProfileWe are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to effectively interact with guests and colleagues alike.
A strong sense of teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English and German is required, with additional language skills considered an asset.
