The Operations Management Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business applications and systems. This position requires a deep understanding of business functions, technical requirements, and operational metrics.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing business cases through extensive research and analysis.
  • Creating detailed specifications, including workflow charts and diagrams.
  • Onboarding stakeholders and defining project scopes.
  • Defining system capabilities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identifying key project milestones, phases, and elements.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Conducting regular reviews and analyses of current processes.
  • Providing recommendations for process improvements to senior management.
  • Leading selected projects and driving them forward.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in gathering technical and business requirements from end-users and business unit leaders.
  • A strong understanding of capital markets and the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in SQL to query and analyze data within MS SQL databases.
  • The ability to positively impact operations and drive change.
  • Detailed-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent time-management skills and organization.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in capital markets will be highly valued.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel, will be beneficial.
  • Proven project management/business analysis certifications will be considered an asset.
