Wireless Product Engineer

As a Wireless Product Engineer at HUBER+SUHNER, you will be responsible for the development of innovative wireless connectivity products, ranging from antennas to active systems, spanning from classical sub7 GHz to mm-wave frequencies with a particular focus on solutions in the transportation sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and design wireless connectivity products, including antennas, RF front-end, and active components.
- Lead development projects and be responsible for technology and product development.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering and antenna specialists, product managers, and project leaders to define wireless product characteristics and development stages.
- Support Sales and Business Development teams to win tenders and RFQs.
- Perform design and verification activities, specify testing and production processes, and create/maintain relevant documentation.
- Provide technical customer interface, including clarification and discussion of technical customer inquiries, discovery, and understanding of real customer needs and pains.
- Technical degree in electrical engineering with a major in Radio Frequency techniques/physics.
- Good knowledge of CAD tools for 3D field simulations (HFSS, CST).
- Systems knowledge about IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) systems, including hardware and software.
- Knowledge of Automotive/Railway Industry/Rail signaling systems is a plus.
- Specific knowledge of Radio Frequency front-end development is a plus.
- Skills to communicate and plan in a professional and systematic way and able to meet timelines and cost-efficiency goals.
- Ability to drive, coordinate, and lead projects and customer-oriented thinking will be the basis of your professional success.
- Very good communication skills in English, German is a plus.
- Leadership skills (activities, people) will be considered a plus.
- Any software development skills is considered a plus.
