Job Title: Assistant to Executive Vice President

Rieter is a leading supplier of systems for manufacturing yarn from staple fibers in spinning mills. As a key member of the Business Group Head's team, the Assistant to Executive Vice President will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth management of the business group's day-to-day operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the RMS meeting schedule, including organizing single meetings and managing meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
  • Maintain the Business Group Head's calendar, manage expenses, and perform further administrative tasks.
  • Arrange travel plans, travel agendas, and provide support in the case of changes.
  • Assist with presentations, reports, and internal communication, ensuring presentation standards and timelines are followed by the RMS team.
  • Support the Management Team where needed, including Management Team RMS meetings and visits.
  • Act as a focal point of contact for other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the global executive assistants' team to ensure successful execution of the group calendar, meetings with the executive team, events, and projects.
  • Plan, lead, and manage smaller projects and events.
  • Handle confidential information professionally.
Requirements:
  • Commercial apprenticeship with a functionally related further education or bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • Previous direct executive support of at least 5 years in a multinational company in the position of Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar.
  • Experience in other commercial functions is a plus.
  • Proficient in communication- and office technologies, particularly MS Powerpoint and MS Teams.
  • Ability to navigate in an international corporate environment.
  • Experienced with calendar management and travel scheduling and booking.
  • Ability to write minutes and corresponding to-do lists.
  • Ability to recognize where processes can be improved and the initiative to improve them.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels and departments within the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and German.
