Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Michael Page. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Initiate and oversee the implementation of projects across the entire process chain, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Resource Planning: Manage the planning of employee resources to guarantee efficient and timely task execution.
- Order Execution: Monitor the timely execution of orders and implement corrective actions if deviations occur.
- Workflow Management: Ensure a smooth workflow in the distribution center, maintaining balanced workloads across all areas and updating system data accordingly.
- Intervention Coordination: Coordinate and prioritize interventions with technical teams and relevant departments.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with inventory regulations, including SOX, GDP, and DI requirements.
- Reporting: Provide daily reports to track performance, capacity, and workload.
- Process Documentation: Document processes, change-requests and the execution of user acceptance tests.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement projects aimed at continuous improvement.
- Technical Environment Testing: Conduct testing of the technical environment after maintenance or modifications.
- Education: Successfully completed bachelor's degree in economics, ideally with a specialization in supply chain or logistics.
- Experience: Min. 3-5 years of working experience in logistics with progressive responsibility and multiple years of experience in leading people.
- Language Skills: Business fluency in English and German (verbally & written).
- Technical Skills: Proficient user in MS Office, as well as in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Soft Skills: Good understanding of the application of lean-management-tools and process-improvement-techniques, team building ability and coach, track record of organizational development.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to liaise and communicate pro-actively with people of all sorts of backgrounds and levels.
- Flexibility: High degree of flexibility, work independently and take the right decisions under pressure.
- Conflict Resolution: Able to handle conflicts in a constructive way - strong interpersonal skills.
